Delete your Harth OS account
Effective 9 October 2026
This page is for Harth OS, the driver app published by Harth Solutions, and for the Harth Ops dashboard it signs you in to. It explains how to have your account removed, what gets deleted, and what we keep.
Harth OS accounts are issued by an employer. If you are a driver or office worker, the business you work for created your login and can remove it in seconds. Asking them is almost always faster than asking us, and you do not need our permission.
How to request deletion
If you are a driver or office staff member. Two ways, either is fine:
- Ask your office to remove you. In the dashboard they open Settings, then People, find your name and remove the account. It stops working immediately.
- Or email us at harry@harthsolutions.com from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my account". Tell us the business you work for. We will confirm with that business that you are who you say you are, then delete the account and write back to say it is done.
If you are the business that uses Harth Solutions. Email harry@harthsolutions.com and tell us what you want removed: particular records, or your whole account and everything in it. We will export your data to you first if you want a copy, then delete it.
If you are a customer of a business that uses our software, and you want your details removed from their records, contact that business directly. The record is theirs, they can act on it straight away, and we hold it on their instructions. If they cannot resolve it, write to us and we will help them.
What gets deleted
When an account is deleted we remove:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your login, including the password or linked Google account.
- Your assignment to that business, so the app can no longer sign you in anywhere.
What is kept, and why
The jobs you worked on and the photographs you took at them stay in your employer's records. They are the business's operating and compliance history, not personal data of yours that we are free to remove: a photo of where a bin was placed is the business's proof of how a job was done, and the job record is what their invoicing and their customer's history rest on. Deleting your account does not delete your employer's business records, in the same way that leaving a job does not erase the work.
If you believe a particular photograph or record contains personal information about you that should not be kept, tell us what it is and we will take it up with that business.
How long it takes, and retention
- An account removed by your own office stops working immediately.
- A request sent to us is actioned within 30 days, and usually within a few business days.
- Deleted accounts may persist in encrypted infrastructure backups for up to 90 days, after which they age out. They are not restored or used in the meantime.
- Business records, as described above, are kept for as long as that business is a client of ours. When a client leaves we export their data to them and remove it on request.
Deleting data without deleting your account
You do not have to close an account to have information removed. To ask for particular data to be deleted while keeping your login:
- Email harry@harthsolutions.com from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my data".
- Tell us the business you work for, and what you want removed. For example a phone number on your profile, a particular photograph, or a note.
- We confirm you are who you say you are, delete it, and write back to say it is done. Same timing as above: within 30 days, usually a few business days, and up to 90 days for encrypted backups to age out.
Your account keeps working throughout. The limits in "What is kept, and why" still apply: records that belong to the business you work for are theirs, and we remove those on their instruction rather than ours.
